About Pinayista

Pinayista is a growing national community of Filipino women entrepreneurs & creative solopreneurs on a mission to build sisterhood in the hustle. Through curated events, workshops, and community spaces, we uplift and support Pinay entrepreneurs, helping them build sustainable businesses rooted in abundance, joy, and collaboration.

About the Role

Pinayista is seeking a dedicated Events & Program Manager to help reignite our community in 2025! The Program Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of two flagship events — Pinay So Fly Photoshoot and Pinayista Summit in 2025. We will also bring back our online community for continued engagement and support (platform TBD).

We’re looking for an organized & community-minded Program Manager with past events experience to work closely with our Executive Director & Founder, Gina Mariko Rosales, to be the organizational engine behind these two flagship events, bringing our vision to life while fostering strong relationships with our vibrant Pinayista community.

This is a part-time, contract role ideal for a past Pinayista Summit participant who understands our mission deeply and has firsthand entrepreneurial experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Execution
    • Lead project management for Pinay So Fly Photoshoot (July/August 2025) and Pinayista Summit (Oct 4 or 5 2025). Must be available on these dates.
    • Manage logistics including venue coordination, vendor bookings, day-of operations, and registration, in partnership with a team of volunteer Planning Committee members.
    • Support creative development including branding, event marketing, and speaker/performer coordination.
    • Work in partnership with the Executive Director to curate the strategic focus for each event, ensuring impact and sustainability are top of mind.
  • Community Management
    • Revitalize the Pinayista online community space with regular engagement, resources, and inspiration posts.
    • Moderate discussions, answer questions, and build relationships with members to foster trust and connection.
  • Volunteer Management
    • Recruit and manage our Summit Planning Committee volunteers across key workgroups (Marketing, Registration, Speaker Management, Outreach).
  • Communications & Outreach
    • Draft event announcements, ticket launch promotions, speaker calls, and participant updates.
    • Support with social media engagement related to events and community activities (Pinay So Fly only; will have marketing support for Summit).
  • Impact Tracking & Reporting
    • Support event feedback surveys and impact data collection (participant satisfaction, CEO tracking, business outcomes, collaborations, etc.).

Who You Are

  • Deeply connected to the Pinayista mission and community.
  • Highly organized project manager with an ability to juggle multiple moving parts.
  • Proactive, independent worker who takes initiative and moves projects forward.
  • Strong communicator — both written and verbal — who can build relationships with heart.
  • Collaborative spirit — excited to build alongside a small but mighty team and passionate volunteers.

Required Qualifications

  • Past attendance at a Pinayista event (Summit strongly preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial experience — you have started, owned, or operated your own business, project, or creative venture (could be in the past, doesn’t have to be now)
  • 2+ years experience in program, event, or community management.
  • Strong project management skills (Google Workspace, Clickup, Asana, Airtable, or similar tools).
  • Comfortable using social media (Instagram, Facebook Groups, etc.).
